Fiddlers Bay is a fully furnished 3 bedroom "deluxe" lodge on the banks of Loch Tay with fabulous views over the surrounding area.
The lodge is maintained to a very high standard and has a Scottish Tourist Board 4 star rating - one of the few in the area. Fiddlers Bay is actually a comfortable, spacious, fully fitted and double glazed Scandanavian style home rather than a "log cabin".
Fiddlers Bay will comfortably sleep six adults. It is an ideal base for fishing and walking holidays and great for families looking to relax and explore. There are excellent facilities on the estate and in nearby Killin and the lodge is well away from roads, is quiet, safe and secure.
Over the past couple of years we have invested significantly in Fiddlers Bay to ensure the accommodation is of the highest standards. A new kitchen was fitted in 2008, power showers have been added (vital after a day in the hills or on the Loch) and you will find new carpets, curtains, bedding and furniture. There is a great Outback gas barbeque and comfortable furniture on the terrace with great views over the Loch. Our guests notice that Fiddlers Bay feels like a comfortable home rather than a sometimes spartan commercial holiday let.
We don't allow pets in the lodge unfortunately and Fiddlers Bay is strictly non-smoking. We can supply towels, cots, highchairs and welcome hampers, all at reasonable rates - please ask when you book.
You will find Fiddlers Bay equiped to a very high standard, with tea, coffee, cooking oil and all basic consumable kitchen essentials provided for your convenience. Our guests regularly tell us that Fiddlers Bay is some of the best equiped self catering accommodation they have ever stayed in.
We manage the property ourselves and use local services as much as possible and as such are able to ensure our pricing remains sensible. If you need to compare Fiddlers Bay to other lodges, we are officially classed as

For each full week booking, we will supply a locally sourced welcome hamper containing bread, cheese, ham, milk, butter, fruit and a few other goodies to get you started.
